I’ve used this for over a year now and I’ll never use anything else!! I have corse frizzy highlighted hair. I use this on wet hair and don’t have to use a flat iron anymore. My hair is naturally dry but with highlights and then blow drying and flat ironing it was so damaged. But after using this great healthy hair. I’m super uncoordinated and when trying to use a round brush and blow dryer, I usually spent most my time trying to get the round brush untangled from my head. This I can do!!

I am one of the cosmetically clueless. 30 years old, and since i mastered the ponytail at the age of 18 (yes that’s right, it took me until age 18 to figure out how to do a decent ponytail!), I rarely do anything to my hair for the sole reason that I am no good at it at all. A few years back, I went to a very patient stylist who labored to teach me the hair dryer/round brush method of doing my hair, and I managed to learn how to use a straightener after to tame the fluffed up broken strands that resulted from this process. At the end of all that, I ended up with a passable head of hair that would look decent for about an hour until i touched it, came in contact with wind, rain, sleet, sun, snow or otherwise did anything other than sit with my head perfectly still.

Then I got this bad boy. I will adnit it takes some getting used to (a 5 minute learning curve for something hair inept like myself). I was concerned at first with the width of the brush. It is easily the size of a full two inch round brush or iron. I first tested on dry hair as soon as I got it out of the box. It did nothing really for my dry hair, except make it big and static-y. I do NOT recommend it for dry hair unless you have some sort of tamer or prewet it. This morning I used it on my freshly showered, shampooed and conditioned hair. I was worried about it pulling out strands, or tangling in my hair, but they have designed it so in order for it to rotate, you have to hold a button down (you can also direct the rotation clockwise or counterclockwise by pushing different buttons-super useful when switching sides of hair). Even when holding down the button I did not manage to cause tangles, rips, or pain in anyway (which i ALWAYS manage when using a manual round brush.) It took about as much and maybe even a few minutes less time to dry may hair, but I didn’t need the straightener step. My hair feels smooth, has a nicely contoured shape and looks as good (or better) than when it is freshly done from the salon. My husband (the man of few compliments) even commented positively on it (Okay, so he said “How much did that cost me?”….but that’s glowing praise coming from him 🙂 )

Now for the disclaimer. This is NOT for short hair. with this big of a brush, I would assume your hair would need to be shoulder length or better (mine is just around my shoulders).
I don’t recommended using for touchups to dry hair, unless you’re looking for that “Just touched a light socket” look.
Be careful at the roots. This is a BIG FAT brush. When you put it to your roots on spin, you will end up with BIG FAT hair if you overdo it.
Be careful just past the roots. This is a BIG FAT brush. If you put it under your hair towards the top of your head, you could end up with UFO shaped hair.
Take the time to get your manual dexterity into alignment. You have to hold the button and position the brush. You have to make sure you’re pushing the right button so that it spins the direction you want.

Once you get used it, you’ll realize that this is a GODSEND and worth every penny you paid for it. Thanks for reading, I’m off to look in the mirror and pretend I’m in a shampoo commercial 🙂

Firstly you should put on the item how big the brush is…diameter…1inch etc. I was scared with the brush spinning…afraid it would grab my hair and everything would get But …it did not happen. It really works. You can use either spinning or not and the spinning can go in two different directions. It is nice for me for two reasons: 1 don’t need to hold brush with one hand and dryer with other and 2. I have RA and it is hard to do things that require strength and pulling etc. This product does it for you.
    I truly was surprised.
The drying power is good too.
